Ann
Bell has over 25 years of experience in diverse geologic
disciplines. Her experience has been obtained by working for
regulatory agencies, academic institutions, and private
enterprise. In the area of groundwater studies, Ms. Bell has over
10 years of experience. Approximately 9 years of experience was
gained in the oil and gas industry where she worked on Gulf Coast,
Permian Basin, and New Mexico drilling prospects. Her experience
includes: preparing and implementing site investigation work
plans, removal action work plans, and interim corrective measure work
plans; conducting groundwater contamination studies; conducting
groundwater monitoring activities at refineries, petrochemical plants,
and municipal solid waste landfill and wastewater treatment sites;
preparing Class I injection well permit applications and technical
reports and federal "no migration" petitions; preparing state and
federal notice of registration documentation and waste code request
forms; siting of Ogallala Formation stratigraphic test holes; and
performing computer modeling of groundwater flow systems. Ms.
Bell has also performed hazardous waste disposal site evaluations
including study of salt caverns and associated brine injection wells,
municipal solid waste site evaluations, and environmental site
assessments.
